The Theme is called Purple and Pink Mini icon and features 5 home screen icons which are customizable with a 6th slot for a weather application.Some really nice walls and detail here.Sadly it is only for the BlackBerry 8520 running 5.0 OS.But deffinetly worth a look and a download i you own one.You can find this great theme and many more for the BlackBerry 8520 in Libby’s developer thread on the forum.Just click here to view and download
We took the default Precision theme that your BlackBerry came with and added key features like clickable banner items and a hidden today for keyboard devices. We updated the look of the cursors and colors throughout the theme. If that wasn’t enough, we reworked the entire Home Screen. On keyboard devices we added two hidden docks, one accessed by scrolling to the right and one shortcut dock with nine small icons accessed by selecting the hidden button on the bottom of the Home Screen. On the Storm we added a total of four hidden docks, all accessed by two buttons incorporated into the banner. The left button controls the number of icon rows displayed on the Home Screen (up to three) and the right controls a six-icon shortcut dock.

Berry Review very kindly mentioned last week about a new Starbucks Card Mobile App forBlackBerry. The free version of BES, BES Express, has been recently updated to version 5.0.2. BES Express allows businesses to wirelessly connect a BlackBerry to the corporate network, without having to pay for additional BES licenses. BES Express uses the same security architecture and includes a subset of the over 500 IT policies and features available with the full BlackBerry Enterprise Server software.BES Express can be installed on the same server as Microsoft Exchange or Windows Small Business Server to connect up to 75 BlackBerrys, or on a separate server to support up to 2000 devices per server, and currently supports Microsoft Exchange 2010, 2007 and 2003, and Windows Small Business Server 2008 and 2003. BES Express can be connected to BlackBerrys on either business or most personal BlackBerry data plans.

RIM has released an update to BlackBerry Messenger from 5.0.1.32 to 5.0.1.38. You can download the updated version from mobile.blackberry.com or at this link on your BB browser. The update is doesn’t seem to be available on app world yet but it should be there soon. They didn’t release a list of new features but the last version was much improved with bug fixes and a few new features. Another release is the official BlackBerry Podcast app that had been released to a few through the BlackBerry Beta zone for testing. You can download it through BB App world at this link. The version released is 1.0.0.36.

With the launch today of the latest offical BlackBerry 6 Desktop Software.Begs the question how much longer before we see blackBerry Theme Studio 6?
